If you are in need of emergency assistance regarding a water line break, or utility break after hours please call the dispatch center at 719-589-5807 and request a Water and Sewer Representative to be dispatched to your location. You may contact Town Hall during Monday through Thursday from 7am to 6pm at 719-274-4024 and leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible.
We are requesting those of you whom have a sprinkler system to please have your annual backflow prevention inspection completed and the results sent into the Town. If you have any questions or would like more information regarding the State Health Department requirement please call the Town office at 719-274-4024 and ask to speak with Tim Crowther, or you may view the Ordinance_2012-01.
The Town of Sanford requires electrical and plumbing permits to be purchased from the State for all work completed within Town limits. These permits may be purchased by clicking here.
We are pleased to present to you this year's 2023 Consumer Confidence water quality report. Our constant goal is to provide you with a safe dependable supply of drinking water. Please contact Tim Crowther at 719-274-4024 with any questions or for public participation opportunities that may affect water quality. The Town of Sanford has a waiver from disinfection requirements and serves well water that has not been chlorinated.
