Letter to Community from Town of Sanfor

Sanford Cemetery notice

The Sanford Cemetary Board would like to place flags for all our Veterans who are buried in the cemetery for Memorial Day weekend. We have about 140 Veterans there. We have a 4-H group that is going to come in and help do that. Thanks to Bailee Mortensen and Annette Reynolds for organizing that.

We would like to give a very big thank you to Dawsyn Dunn for compiling most of this list. She is an amazing young lady!

We would like to be sure and recognize all our Veterans out there. If you think we might not have information on someone, please reach out Shelley Russell at 274-4105.

Sanford Planning Committee

The Town of Sanford would like to issue a note of appreciation to the Sanford Planning Committee for all their achievements and hard work in 2024. Please contact Amy Larson, Rachel Crowther, or Tamera Gilleland for more information.

Water and Sewer

The annual mosquito control fee will be coming out on your May bill. This fee is to help offset costs of the chemical utilized to treat mosquitos in Town. This annual $10.00 fee to each residence in Town does not cover the entire purchase of the chemical utilized, this is not an optional fee or donation, the Town will charge a late fee if it is not paid timely.
