Animal Control

All dogs within Town limits are required to be registered with the Town of Sanford in accordance with Ordinace 2007-01. A license may be purchased for a two year period for $5.00, the license is valid from January 1 of the current year through December 31 of the follwing year. A current rabies vaccination is required when the license is purchased. You may download thePet license Application.docx, return the application with a picture of your dog, prrof of current rabies vaccination, and $5.00 and a license will be issued.

If you have a lost or found dog please feel free to notify the Police Department by calling 719-274-4040, and we will assist in locating.
